About Russ:
Russ Williams serves as President of the Intermountain Health Nevada Children’s Hospital. Russ leads Intermountain Health’s efforts to expand pediatric care services across Southern Nevada and Southwest Utah through collaboration with operations, caregiver teams across the Desert Region, other regions and enterprise, focusing on positive clinical outcomes, quality, patient experiences and improved access for pediatric patients.
Russ has more than two decades of executive leadership experience in pediatric and academic healthcare, with a strong track record in hospital operations, strategy, community engagement, and the planning and activation of complex healthcare facilities.
Prior to joining Intermountain Health, Russ served in senior leadership roles with Texas Children’s Hospital in Austin, where he provided operational and strategic oversight for a growing regional pediatric platform and led partnerships across clinical, academic, and community stakeholders. Prior to that, Russ held senior executive roles at Seattle Children’s, Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health, and the University of Minnesota Medical Center. In each of these positions, Russ guided system operations, regional programs, patient experience efforts, and major capital initiatives—including the development and opening of new children’s hospitals.
Russ holds a Master's in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Psychology and Business Administration from Brigham Young University.
