About Brandon App:
With over a decade of experience in IT consulting, Brandon App is a co-owner, partner, and IT Consultant at Sierra Miles Group, a leading IT service provider in Reno, Nevada. As a trusted advisor to organizations across healthcare, finance, and various sectors, he specializes in creating customized IT solutions that enhance security, efficiency, and compliance. His specializes in Medical IT, HIPAA security, IT infrastructure design, and business analytics. He is especially passionate about the impact of AI across industries and is dedicated to continuous learning and community growth.
Brandon has led the Sierra Miles team to multiple honors, recently earning AI Company of the Year (2025) from NCET (Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology) . In June 2025, Brandon was elected to the Board of Directors for the Reno Tahoe Young Professionals Network (YPN), where he supports professional development and engagement across the region. Brandon also serves at the NCET President, as well as an active member of the Robert Unsworth Foundation.
At Sierra Miles, his role extends beyond technical consulting. He focuses on strategic business development and helping the company grow while maintaining a commitment to local businesses and nonprofit organizations. His mission is to provide technology solutions that are scalable, secure, and sustainable.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys hiking, time with family, and exploring the Sierra Nevada. His commitment to innovation and community is reflected in the work Sierra Miles delivers for clients across Northern Nevada.
