    About the Session: Learn best practices of effective patient communications in this interactive session that will walk you though the entire patient communications planning process. During the session, you'll assess your current situation and begin to understand what additional research you may need. You'll also set goals and objectives and identify strategies, tactics and timelines to reach your business goals. Whether it's improving quality metrics, increasing patient satisfaction scores or enhancing treatment awareness and adherence, you'll leave the session with a better understanding of how to engage with your patients to reach your business goals.


    About the Speaker: Regina Vaccari, APR is a multi-faceted public relations expert with more than 23 years of dynamic experience in the field. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm and serves as principal consultant to our clients. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Regina has called Nevada home for nearly two decades. She's a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno's Reynolds School of Journalism and sits on the Executive Board of Directors for the YMCA of Southern Nevada. She's also a member of PRSA's Las Vegas Valley Chapter and holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). In January of 2024, Regina received a Pinnacle Award from PRSA Las Vegas Valley for PR Practitioner of the Year.

    This year's symposium will focus on a broad range of healthcare topics including the national impact of healthcare reform and evolution on the industry and Nevadans, consumer engagement, startups in healthcare, nursing issues and practice in Nevada, changes in Medicare, Medicaid, employer trends in healthcare, quality and innovation in healthcare, the move towards value-based reimbursement, and more in a live and in-person format. The program will once again feature national and state leaders in the healthcare industry and be an outstanding resource for you or members of your staff.

    This event brings together most of Nevada’s healthcare leaders covering a broad section of the industry, including providers and provider executives (physicians, nurses, allied health providers); hospital, post-acute care facility and ancillary care provider executives, academia, employer group and health plan/insurance executives, government officials, students, media and consumers of healthcare.

    Building off of a successful 16 years, the 2024 Nevada Health Care Forum will continue the overwhelming success of last year's Forum event attended by more than 300 healthcare industry executives and government leaders along with more than 30 nationally recognized dynamic presenters including national and local CEOs, legislators and industry experts addressing sweeping changes impacting our healthcare industry, opportunities for improving our national and local healthcare delivery systems, and much more.

    The Nevada Chapters of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and the Healthcare Leaders Association of Nevada (HLA Nevada), in conjunction with the Clark County Medical Society, Case Management Association of Las Vegas, Nevada Advanced Practice Nurse Association, Nevada Executive Women in Healthcare, Nevada Health Information Management Association, Nevada Nurses Association, Nevada State Board of Nursing, Nevada Organization of Nurse Leaders, and Washoe County Medical Society, have all come together to organize this Nevada statewide symposium.
